My husband knocked out on the floor in basement while I was sewing blocks for my son’s quilt. The rest of kids were playing wii. In a bit while, I noticed my daughter curled up next to her pinky doodle board… I said “Sarah?” and her puffy red face looked up at me. She is crying and my eyes caught on doodle board “Mad” with sad face in drawing.
I asked “whats wrong?” She said her brothers wouldnt play wii with her. I had to drop my sewing and help her to feel better. I asked she can do anything she want. She wanted to make bracelets with beads. Her smiling face came back on.
Im glad she is able to communicate her feelings in drawings or directly.
